Friend in hospice

Please pray for healing and salvation for Gerry Henne, who I just learned is in hospice with cancer. He's a former bandmate of mine from Calif in the late 1980s, and was my brother's best friend in high school. We just reconnected via text last year. He has a wife and a son in his early 20s. Gerry lives in Illinois. His son says he can't visit his dad because of COVID. Please pray for him (Andrew) too. I don't know Gerry's wife's name. Thank you.

She has struggled her whole life with many hardships and I ask you to pray she connects with god and devolves a close relationship to learn her worth and understand how much Jesus loves her. Healing for chronic back pain

Prayer for a friend's chronic backpain, she has been experiencing severe back pain for many years and has not found relief even with medical care. Prayer for healing and also peace and strength in the midst of this struggle, that she would see the healing and protection of God each day and be encouraged that God loves and restores His broken children.

I am struggling - new breakup with someone who pulled me out of my shell in a way no one has in a long time - felt like answered prayers. I find myself now on the outskirts realizing that I have placed my hopes and wants/needs on this person and now that it is gone, I feel alone. I know need to redirect my focus and hopes onto God and build that relationship and prioritize him above all else; I ask for your prayers through this time in trying to find myself and learn to stand firm with God

Prayer for friend with Coronavirus

Thank you for praying for LaDonna, in ICU with COVID and her parents at home (tested positive) LaDonna has been moved out of ICU, and into regular room, but she is struggling with PT and motor skills. Please pray she will improve in this area and for continued healing. Parents are over 70 years old ( high risk) but are improving. Prayers are being answered!!

Niece in Emergency Surgery

My 11 year old niece who has several ongoing medical conditions is currently in the hospital undergoing emergency surgery for a brain bleed.

Corvid-19

My elderly uncle named Daniel Wallace has been struggling with corvid 19 in New Jersey. He at rehab because it affected his movement like just trying to get up and walk. Prior to this he had a stroke two years ago. Can you please pray for him. Thank You!!

Impending Catholic Conversion

I’ve been “saved” since I was in 7th grade. I am recovering and I’m therapy from hurt and anger, some of which is “church hurt”. I’m seeking community. I am lonely here in Raleigh. My “church hurt” led me to walk away from the truth and convert to being Catholic. I left Vintage and entered into a year long program to convert in the Catholic Church. My confirmation is in two weeks and I don’t believe Their theology. It’s causing me panic. I am too embarrassed to back out.

Loss of Job

Like so many my job is reduced drastically and I am having to look for more work and having no success. I have already had to take 4 months of unpaid leave from breaking my leg in October. My leg and other pre existing health conditions keep me from being able to work most common jobs so I am limited especially with serious job competition.

Please pray for the daughter of one of my ministry friends. Her daughter has been severely depressed and last Friday evening she took all of her sleep medication and anti-depressants. She ended up in the ER and admitted for evaluation. She returned home yesterday. She lives alone. In need of Christian counseling. Pray for her safety during this quarantine and that they can find affordable Christian counseling.

Please pray for a family member who has been in a 16 year battle with drug addiction and is currently in a drug abuse recovery center. Pray for healing from addiction as well as protection at the center from COVID19.

High risk pregnancy

I am 17 weeks pregnant and have been considered high risk since the beginning. I’m feeling anxious about the future with Covid, and I’m just feeling defeated that I’m still getting sick. I’m worried about the health of the baby. Please pray for health for both of us and for encouragement.

UPDATED: Adoption prayers for our (2) Birth Mother & babies

While we have 11wks or so before our Birth Mother delivers a baby girl, a former Birth Mother reached out to us, independent of our agency, asking if we were still interested in adopting her two children who are 3 yrs and 10 months old (both have birthday's in June). This Birth Mother is 21 yrs old and as you can imagine this is a really difficult decision she's making. We pray that God covers her with his love and comforts her during this challenging time.

Serve

While everyone is struggling in different ways right now the people in the city are still struggling and still hurting even more. We tend to be putting them even more on the back burner now that we seem to have are own norms and routines that have been disrupted. Please pray that we would serve and love on these people more than ever.

Adoption prayers for our Birth Mother & baby

We've recently been matched with a Birth Mother who is due with a baby girl on July 3. We are beyond excited to have been chosen. We ask that God keeps her and the baby safe and healthy.

Prayers of protection for unborn baby

I'm 13 weeks pregnant and my husband is in grocery. He is being exposed at a high rate, which makes my self isolation feel superfluous. Prayers that we are both protected from COVID, because there is not much information on the effects covid has on unborn babies. Pray for baby to be protected from any ill effects no matter what happens.

Registered Nurse

Prayers for ER, ICU and Staff Nurses as they cope with 3-4 patient deaths per 12-hour shift. Prayers for these Nurses who hold cell phones for folks to speak with dying loved ones. Prayers for theses Nurses who care for 8-9 very sick patients risking exposure themselves and to their own family members. Prayers for the ER Nurse whose patient was strong enough to throw a shoe at the glass partition to get attention of the staff to report a dropped call bell then died 30 min later.

Elderly Grandma lives in a nursing home in Seattle. 1 visitor for 5-10 minutes every few days and multiple people in nursing home have Coronavirus.

Brother in Denmark was sent home with (needed) pay in Denmark for being very high risk with his health, nurse for elderly. Is now being required to return on Monday or be fired.

Lies of the Enemy

I've heard from many of my family members, friends and work colleagues that this change in being isolated at home is challenging in the area of mental health. People are hearing lies of "you aren't needed", "you aren't important", "no one likes you". I'm asking for prayer that our minds stay full of truth, "You are loved, needed and adored", and that in the name of Jesus, all lies will be cast out of their minds and homes, that in this time we will grow stronger together and not farther apart.

Nation's mask supply

My neighbor is a PA at an urgent care, and they are reusing masks for several days. She is understandably worried about she and her family's safety. Join me in praying that manufacturing efforts can be bolstered in creative ways and that medical staff will feel a special peace & protection!
